William Ellery Lichen hats are an experiment in wear. Our aim is to study how a hat deforms and decomposes with wear, and over time. 

Hats become microcosms of the head after years of continuous wear. We hypothesize that this printed pattern of Lichens will compliment the aging process. 

Cotton Hat, made from recycled US Military laundry bags. 

Elasticated Fidlock buckle, for easy adjustment and attachment to your bag or person.

Each hat is made slightly different in olive color.

Salvaged and reworked garment with scars and marks from labor and love.
